What I'm Listening To: BE AWAKE By The Boyz

    The one word that came to mind when I listened to The Boyz's latest mini album, "BE AWAKE", was 'sexy'. To be completely honest, I was a hater when I first listened to this song (I had to make this note before my friends pulled up the receipts of me hating on it). Once I sat down and listened to the album in its entirety, I was shocked at how I completely dismissed it.

    The title track "ROAR" is an exciting R&B/Pop song that is fun for anyone to listen to. The music video has a much darker and almost dystopian feel to it, which felt very different from The Boyz's previous albums. I think they really nailed this concept though. I honestly think this album will help bring even more popularity to the group (sorry Ashly, Jess was right).
